WCSD bus driver Kathy Minasi is being honored by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council with the prestigious Golden Apple award, a tribute to her 50+ years of service in the field of education. This award recognizes employees who have demonstrated dedication to the educational mission of a school district throughout their career. “You have absolutely done that through your many years of service,” Dr. Bonk told Ms. Minasi. “I still love my job, and I want to continue for as long as I can,” she said. John Jay’s FFA attended the annual Dutchess County Agricultural Society’s breakfast at the Fairgrounds, and were chosen to lead the Pledge of Allegiance! Dutchess County’s four FFA chapters, farmers, politicians, state/local legislators, and other supporters discussed agriculture in the county and how our youth ties into the future of farming. @drbonkwcsd

Tonight’s Skilled Trades Fair featured a wide variety of career opportunities to explore: the trades, law enforcement, the military, and so much more. At tonight‘s BOE meeting, members of John Jay’s Science Olympiad thanked the Board for their continued support of the club, which focuses on science-based competitions that include Knowledge (tests) and Builds (robots and other objects).
