They entered a protected area, crossed into Myanmar, trained ethnic armed groups linked to Indian insurgents, and moved European drones through Indian territory.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested seven foreign nationals, including six Ukrainians and one American, for allegedly providing terrorist training in Myanmar and plotting terror activities in India. They were arrested at airports in Lucknow, Delhi, and Kolkata and have been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The accused allegedly entered India on valid visas but proceeded to Mizoram without the mandatory Restricted Area Permit, later crossing into Myanmar to meet ethnic groups hostile to India.
