Here are my predictions for CPI and PPI for Easter Holiday: CPI: 3.0% from 2.4% CPI EX Food & Energy: 2.9% from 2.5% Most of the inflation will come from Oil & Gas prices and Airline fares $ increase due to fuel shortage Next FED Meeting will have 2 FED Members talking about hiking rates to stop the surge inflation Gold briefly hitting $4,500 then going to $6,000 in medium term outlook. CPI in May will be 3.5% CPI EX Food & Energy will be 3.3% However true inflation will hit around 6 - 7%. This will progressively ramp up should the war continue past May. I can expect for inflation to exponentially increase to 6% by Summer if this continues or major Oil & Gas Infrastructure gets critically damaged in UAE. However, if we see a complete de-escalation within the next couple of weeks I expect CPI and PPI to hit 3% and 4% respectively then slowly decrease over 3 - 6 month time back to 2.5% and 2.8% respectively where it will hold for a few months.
