Don’t know why everyone is acting like Mbappe’s career is so poor now. He’s one UCL away from having the World Cup and UCL in his pocket. Yes PSG is better now but he doesn’t have an average career.

This is one of the most difficult statements I have ever had to write - and it is one which I hoped I would not need to do for many years. I am devastated that my time at Chelsea has come to an end.

#THE LIES Ekow Nelson deals brilliantly with the dishonesty of right-wing politicians in discussing the Nkrumah era especially from 1960 to 1966 in an article headed “The Bombs Came First”. He writes “There is a stubborn dishonesty in how modern Ghanaian political discourse treats the early 1960s. We are endlessly invited to discuss “repression”, “preventive detention”, and “one party state” as if these measure fell from the sky – spontaneous products of Nkrumah’s innate wickedness. What is deliberately left out of this narrative is the ugly prelude: a sustained campaign of terror waged against the Ghanaian people and their elected government”. Kwame Nkrumah would have amassed wealth in his name for his children, like most of your leaders do, if he were half the person you say he was. This man bought everything in the name of Ghana, but hey, let's compare him to those who wanted to drink tea with the colonizers

The “democrats” that overthrew Nkrumah banned any opposition to their anointed successor, deported West African nationals, sacked opposition sympathizers from the civil service, and then ignored a Supreme Court ruling asking for the restoration of a dismissed civil servant.

@fiifi_manfred The reason some people try to bastardize JB and others is because some try to put them on pedestals close to that of Nkrumah. Others also contributed to where we are now as a nation but their contributions put together is tiny compared what Nkrumah did. That’s the problem.
