Firstly, HIV is not a consequence it’s a medical condition. In this day and age , with proper treatment, people living with HIV can live long. So the “who will marry her?” line says more about stigma than reality. Secondly, reducing a woman’s entire future to marriage is absurd. Her surviving, getting treatment early, and living to tell her story is strength not shame.

My sec school friend who thought she could fuc her way through her degrees in university, she ended up getting HIV from her lecturer, lucky for her she found out way too early and started treatment, with time she got better before it could turn to AIDS. Weird thing is, she still didn't finish school coz she dropped out in other to get proper treatment, she lives today to tell the story, but I pity who's gonna marry her.
