Brontë Country Landscapes

The most dramatic blue hour I've witnessed at Top Withens. Mist is often described as a cloak but this was more like a delicate chiffon veil that slid slowly over the hills from the west, gently caressing their contours. It was simply awe-inspiring & I felt privileged to see it.

@primarily_prog A privileged band of us used to chat with Andy P on here, probably 10 years ago. Fascinating chap. He used to like a robust debate with some people but I used to just chat to him about 60s psychedelia.

@AFowlerPhoto I originally assumed it was a Yorkshire name. It does sound it. "Ey up our Branwell. What you doing leaning on that mantle?"

@HouseChambers Distant relatives, apparently. Not a common name though.

@AFowlerPhoto Down by the harbour there's a 'Branwells' Mill'. Dated in the 1800s. I wonder if that's anything to do with the family.

@WWENXTspot @BellaBaddie__ Yes he did well to come back a few years ago after being seriously ill for a long time. Moonmadness is a fantastic album but, for me, Mirage is perfect. The demos on the recent release are just amazing.

Name an album where you can listen to every song from the beginning to the end and not have the urge to skip a song?

This morning's wonderful cloud inversion at Wainman's Pinnacle again. The hang glider was a bit of a bonus, I have to say. I bet the view was amazing from up there.
