@primarily_prog A privileged band of us used to chat with Andy P on here, probably 10 years ago. Fascinating chap. He used to like a robust debate with some people but I used to just chat to him about 60s psychedelia.

@HouseChambers I see what you mean. It certainly doesn’t sound like your average Trelawney / Pengelly / Trevithick type of name.
English

@AFowlerPhoto I originally assumed it was a Yorkshire name. It does sound it.
"Ey up our Branwell. What you doing leaning on that mantle?"

@HouseChambers Distant relatives, apparently. Not a common name though.
English

@AFowlerPhoto Down by the harbour there's a 'Branwells' Mill'. Dated in the 1800s. I wonder if that's anything to do with the family.
English

@HouseChambers Still has the original burglar alarm, I see. 😁
English

@AFowlerPhoto I was in Penzance today. You probably have 100s of pics of this house, but just in case.

@WWENXTspot @BellaBaddie__ Yes he did well to come back a few years ago after being seriously ill for a long time. Moonmadness is a fantastic album but, for me, Mirage is perfect. The demos on the recent release are just amazing.
English

@AFowlerPhoto @BellaBaddie__ Outstanding choice 🫡 but I’d have to go with MoonMadness from Camel. There is something about all those songs.
Andy posted a couple years ago, but nothing since. I know he’s been dealing with major health concerns so I hope he’s ok. 🙏
English

@GjaMacphee @BellaBaddie__ Best band I ever saw live in 84. Mirage is in my top 5.
English

@AFowlerPhoto @BellaBaddie__ Must catch up with that one . Was a Caravan fan and never got to grips with their other band (almost) homophone 😅
English

@TomFlet65497562 I’m surprised it was that recently. I need to get up there, if only for the view of the Salt & Pepper Pots.
English

@AFowlerPhoto I believe the mine and spoil heaps were last worked in the 1960s

@38highbury @Manclee Cheers! Yes I haven’t actually been up there but it has a long shadow on Google Earth. 😁
English

@AFowlerPhoto @Manclee There's not much more hidden. Cracking photograph.
English

@Manclee I think that’s just the top of it you can see. It’s slightly over the hill, but then aren’t we all? 😁
English

@AFowlerPhoto Always wondered what that was, thank you 😊
