This trade sees Portland acquire Brown in exchange for Jrue Holiday, Scoot Henderson, Donovan Clingan and 3 First Round Picks. The Celtics have said to be competitive, Brown needs to leave. Portland gets a superstar to play alongside Deni Avdija and a returning Damian Lillard to try and make another run for the playoffs. The Celtics add depth in getting back Jrue Holiday, Scoot Henderson can develop in Boston (hopefully into the player we all expected coming out of college) and Clingan most likely would be the piece to get the deal done, becoming the Celtics franchise Center.
