Going by that logic, countries like Bangladesh should have no support either. Yet their fans proudly back the national team despite being ranked 181 because they love both their country and football. The same can be said for Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Tajikistan and many others across Asia. Do you think every lower-league club in Europe plays great football? Of course not. Their fans still turn up because they love the game and feel a connection to their city and club. Support is not always about success. Sometimes it is simply about belonging.
