🚨🚨WARNING: Raw & Real Post!🚨🚨 I received my final check off to being fully completed with hand therapy. First let me say, thank you to @ATIPT in Bowie, especially Mr. Bernard, my physical therapist. 🤩 Along with this and seeing my fielding & conditioning coach yesterday (I haven’t seen him since June when I got injured), I feel like a HUGE mental block has been lifted off of me. Working with Coach Shurn (who had known me since I was 6yo) and talking with him, helped a lot in more ways than he knows. 🤍 I am my BIGGEST critic and I am really hard on myself. 😔 Since getting out of my cast and pins, it’s been difficult for me to accept that I wasn’t going to be right back where I was before getting injured, which made me lose a lot of confidence in myself. This was making me depressed, when I was already down and depressed for not being able to push myself like I wanted to when I was injured. But after our lesson yesterday, I just want to say THANK YOU 😊 Coach Shurn for talking to me, getting me straight and reminding me not to let anyone, especially myself, get inside my head and let it affect me.
