My girlfriend started watching NBA because of me, we've been together for 4 months. Stayed up all night watching OKC vs Spurs game 7. Answered every question. Explained every rule. After the final buzzer, she turned to me and asked "when is game 8?" I opened my mouth to explain. Then I closed it. Then I said "there is no game 8." She said "that's stupid. They should play until someone wins twice." I said that's called a series. She said "then why is it called game 7?"

My daughter called me from school yesterday.
Her: Dad I got in trouble.
Me: What happened.
Her: A boy grabbed my arm when I tried to walk away from him. So I broke his nose.
Me: (pause)
Me: Are you okay?
Her: I'm fine. But the principal wants to talk to you.
I went in.
The principal sat across from me and explained that while he understood my daughter felt uncomfortable, her response was inappropriate. The boy hadn't actually hurt her. She should have heard him out.
Me: (looked at him)
Me: What did my daughter say when you told her that?
Principal: (shifted in his seat)
Apparently she had told him in the middle of the school corridor, loud enough for everyone passing to hear that if that was his attitude he should probably find a different profession. That he was teaching girls to be quiet and teaching boys that grabbing was acceptable. That men like him were exactly why her mother taught her to throw a proper punch.
Two female teachers had started clapping.
Me: (sat there for a moment)
Me: (looked at the principal)
Me: With respect.
Me: The boy grabbed her when she tried to walk away.
Me: (stood up)
Me: I think we're done here.
Me: (collected my daughter from outside)
Me: (we walked to the car)
Me: (I didn't say anything for a moment)
Her: Am I in trouble?
Me: (looked at her)
Me: Your mum taught you well.
Her: (small smile)
Me: (we drove home)
Me: (I've never been more proud of anything in my life)

Yo! Stop feeding people with lies!
A man who shows care for his woman rather earns more respect from her. Ladies love to be cared for. We love to be pampered, appreciated, and shown genuine affection.
I know we’re all here to make money and chase engagement, but sometimes the misinformation is too much. One guy will see this post and start treating his lady poorly because social media said so.
Please stop it. It’s not nice.

“I lost my aunt two weeks ago. She was 63 and left behind her only son, now 21, who has to face life without the only parent he ever knew.
What makes it even more heartbreaking is that he never knew his father. On her deathbed, she admitted she kept them apart out of spite, because his father didn’t want a romantic relationship with her, even though he was willing to co-parent.
Now, my cousin isn’t just grieving his mother. He’s also dealing with the painful reality of a relationship with his father that was taken from him through no fault of his own.
It makes me wonder, why do some parents weaponize their children? And why do others allow themselves to be pushed out of their children’s lives?
At the end of it all, it’s always the child who carries the deepest scars. And right now, grief feels especially heavy.”

Bro walked her home safely, got a kiss, made sure she got in okay, then left like a gentleman… and y’all laughing? The real ones understand: Respect > desperation. This man just earned date #2 while the sideline squad stays single forever. Who else sees the W here?

Aux États-Unis, un homme a raccompagné une femme jusqu’à chez elle après un dîner… avant de se faire gentiment recaler à la porte 😭 La scène a été aperçue par un groupe d’hommes qui n’ont pas manqué de se moquer de lui. 👀😂
