HB 695 was given its first hearing in Local Government Committee this week. @BrianStewartOH and I teamed up to make the case for why local elected officials should not be permitted to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements in the performance of their duties.

I’m a co-sponsor of Sub SB 63 which bans Ranked Choice Voting in Ohio. Studies show that Ranked Choice Voting is more expensive, slows voting and is confusing to voters. And besides all that, the candidate with the most votes should win.
