NEW | Record exports of solar, batteries and EVs last month 📈 China’s exports for the ‘new three’ industries reached a record high of $21.9bn in March 2026, up 70% year-on-year, in the wake of the US-Israel war with Iran and changing export rebates for solar and batteries.

🇳🇱Within 2 years, there will probably be more full electric cars than diesel cars in the country🇳🇱 @burger_jaap: ✍️ "Another - literally - silent evolution: in the Netherlands, the number of diesel passenger cars is rapidly decreasing: there are already more hybrid cars than diesel cars, and within two years, there will probably be more full electric cars than diesel cars in the country. With full electric passenger cars accounting for 39.3% (the largest group) of new car sales last month, and diesel cars accounting for just 0.8%, this could come even sooner." #alwaysbecharging

The EU's proposed ban on "meaty" terms could be a "Kodak moment" that results in the EU failing to seize the benefits of a revolution in food innovation. WePlaneteer @Joelscotthalkes writes, "cultivated products are already being sold as "meat" in Singapore, Australia and the US. The EU’s response? Turn Europe into a museum of agriculture. As Sony and Canon learnt, early movers reap the greatest dividends. Catching up later isn’t a thing. Do we want to be as reliant on China for imported protein as we are for solar panels? If the CMO file passes, that future may be closer than we think." Full article: euractiv.com/opinion/china-…

I have never seen a transition to BEV close to this fast. Indonesia is on an entirely different level. Every time I add more recent data I think to myself "this can't go on this month, can it?", but it does go on. Indonesia has ~600k registrations per year, so they are even a decent size.
