@TanukiDanShow This is such a valid point! In the early 90s I remember getting a $70 copy of Street Fighter 2 on Sega Genesis... several years later I got a $70 copy of Mystical Ninja on N64. Cut to 2022 and the release of MW2 Vault Edition cost $99.99. The list goes on, this is nothing new.

I had people literally call me a monster for being gifted Mario Kart World. Meanwhile, if you want the full game on release for Borderlands 4 you gotta spend $129.99. I wonder if those same people are foaming at the mouth with rage or if it's just Nintendo that makes them rabid?

@Affinitia I would maybe contact customer support if it keeps happening or gets worse. Switch 2 has made the loads generally better, but also introduced some bugs for games so maybe it's one of those things.

What is causing these insane load times in #SuperMarioMaker2 on the #NintendoSwitch2? I will press "Play" on a level and it can take 1 to 4 minutes to start, and it's a similar experience when searching for levels. I'm on a wired connection as well.

@_GLORIOUSGames Yeah I've had some comm errors too. Get to the end of a level and it crashes loading back into the level selection menu. It is very odd. I'll point it out in some of my upcoming YT videos.

@Affinitia I've had regular comm errors when playing Maker since going on the switch 2, only game where it happens, not sure why, I thought it was an internet thing but everything else works great

@SpeerTime It's very weird. I'll play a few levels and they'll take forever to load, and then the next few load right away. It's only been happening the last couple days. I installed SMM2 onto the system memory vs SD Card and it acts the same.

@Affinitia That's weird, the first I've heard of this, it's been fine for me and my friends.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Version for Super Mario Maker 2 seems to be immune for lag setups. This completely breaks some annoying levels that are supposed to slow down the game or make you wait for a really long time.
