🇨🇳 BYD's CEO was spotted riding the subway to the Beijing Auto Show. Wang Chuanfu took Line 15 like everyone else. Runs a $150 billion company, still takes public transport. Best marketing BYD never paid for.

If there was a best decision my ancestors made, it was to leave South Africa for Zimbabwe because I would have been landless, uneducated, lazy, and blaming African migrants for poverty, misgovernance, and corruption. Despite all the challenges, I'm proud to be a Zimbabwean.

Today, I had the honor of commissioning a community borehole and nutrition garden at Mhlasi Village, Ward 21, which serves 432 households in the community, as part of a broader agenda to empower women & girls. This brings an end to long walks in search of water. Amanzi yikuphila.

"A man... whose whole lifetime, apart from the mere physical interruptions by sleep, meals, and so forth, is absorbed by his labor for the capitalist, is less than a beast of burden. He is a mere machine for producing foreign wealth, broken in body & brutalized in mind" Karl Marx

The Chinese miracle is simply the miracle of Communism. Those who say China is capitalist simply do not understand both communism and capitalism. But when one understands, it wouldn’t seem so much like a miracle as it is just reality unfolding. China is winning!

Love isn’t spoken it’s shown. And Sir Wicknell Chivhayo just taught the nation a masterclass. This isn’t generosity it’s godly leadership in motion. While others make promises, Mukuru WeMazuva delivers. Not for applause. Not for cameras. But because true men honor, provide, and uplift the women who stand with them

We have suspended key taxes and levies on diesel, including Excise Duty, the ZINARA Road Levy, Carbon Tax, and the Strategic Reserve Levy. Over and above this, the blending ratio for petrol has been increased to 20%, with the intention to blend diesel as well.

I was delighted to host diplomats for a cookout competition at my Amai’s Kitchen during ZITF, where we shared cooking, culture, and friendship. I sincerely appreciate their participation as we continue to promote unity, heritage, and healthy living. I also had the honour of welcoming His Excellency President Duma Boko of Botswana, who toured the kitchen and observed the cookout alongside my husband, President Mnangagwa, witnessing this vibrant cultural exchange. His visit was a great honour and reflected the spirit of friendship and goodwill shared between our peoples. Also seeing diplomats come together to share traditional cuisines from across the world was truly uplifting, as food continues to speak a universal language of peace and understanding.

LEGENDARY STATESMAN SIMBI MUBAKO HONOURED AT HISTORIC 90TH CELEBRATION‼️ Vice President Kembo Mohadi stood in for President Emmerson Mnangagwa at a momentous occasion marking the 90th birthday of distinguished scholar and statesman Simbi Mubako. The celebration was not merely ceremonial—it was a national salute to a towering figure whose life’s work has profoundly shaped Zimbabwe’s legal, academic, and diplomatic landscape. Professor Mubako’s legacy is etched into the very foundation of Zimbabwe’s governance architecture. From his early intellectual contributions as founding editor of Moto Magazine in 1958 to his instrumental role as Chief Legal Adviser during the landmark Lancaster House Agreement, his influence has been both historic and transformative. At independence, he rose to become Zimbabwe’s first black Minister of Justice, a role in which he helped construct the legal framework of a new nation emerging from colonial rule. His vision, precision, and commitment to justice ensured that Zimbabwe’s foundational laws reflected both sovereignty and institutional strength. Beyond national borders, Professor Mubako carried Zimbabwe’s voice onto the global stage through distinguished diplomatic service. His contributions to international relations and foreign policy helped define Zimbabwe’s posture in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, earning him recognition as one of Africa’s foremost intellectual minds. Today, as Chairperson of the Institute of African Knowledge, he continues to shape the continent’s narrative through the development of the Museum of African Liberation—a visionary project preserving Africa’s liberation heritage. This milestone celebration stands as a powerful tribute to a man whose enduring legacy continues to inspire generations and fortify Zimbabwe’s national identity.
