April is National Garden Month! Gardening is more than planting flowers — it’s about nurturing wellness, connection, and meaningful moments. Nature-based activities can support mental health, gentle movement, and sensory engagement, especially for older adults and caregivers.

An estimated 65,000 New Yorkers are living with Parkinson’s disease. Caregivers & community networks play an important role in helping individuals navigate Parkinson’s. Today we raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and recognize the importance of community for all affected.

Siblings are often our first friends, lifelong supporters, and sometimes our caregiving partners. This National Siblings Day, we celebrate the special bonds that connect families and the ways siblings support one another through every stage of life. #NationalSiblingsDay

Health is a journey, and everyone deserves the opportunity to reach the top. Access to healthcare, reliable information, and community support helps individuals and families overcome barriers and move toward healthier lives.
