Even after Dexter (unnecessarily and completely nonsensically) killed Logan? I’ll stop lol I shouldn’t shit on a post of a show where someone loved it

@CS11__ I despise that they Angel dies. Each time someone gets close to catching Dexter, they’re killed by an external force, so Dexter doesn’t have to make a hard moral decision. Doakes, LaGuerta & Angel. A 10 season long character is just killed off because they wanna make more seasons

Dexter’s final act towards Batista being an attempt to save his life which he refuses to accept took years off my fucking life man. That makes everything a millions times more tragic. fuck this stupid fucking show

It was the negative effect of the One Wish Willow. Him stupidly going to Bears house and being shot was his consequence for making a wish like that.

Can someone genuinely explain this to me? At the end of #obsession , Ian shows up at Bear’s house after wishing for $1 billion. But Bear was literally there when the wish happened…so why did Ian need to come tell him about it, only to get killed 30 seconds later?

I’m so glad she’s getting the recognition she deserves. Her performance really tied the movie together for me. I loved it before then but she had to deliver such a layered performance in such a short time and she absolutely nailed it.

If Beatrice Straight can be recognized for Network, I don’t see why Courtney Grace can’t for Disclosure Day. A stunning performance of professionalism, shock, disturbance, and, ultimately, empathy for a bewildered world. The third act falls apart without her.

@CS11__ Unfortunately like both S8 and New Blood, it makes some unforgivable errors towards the end. The stretch of episodes running from 4-8 are amazing though.

I’m 7 Episodes into Dexter Resurrection and i’m ready for THAT conversation. It’s top 4 Dexter seasons as we speak. I truthfully don’t see a world where it doesn’t become #1.

Bear is not immediately the villain of Obsession, as he simply couldn’t overcome his overwhelming insecurities for female affection. However, there is a certain point (or two) where it’s made abundantly clear to him that this isn’t a game and something is extremely wrong. Yet he does nothing about it and continues to believe that he can make this situation work. That’s when he officially becomes the villain because the situation completely spirals out of control.

‘Bear was defo the villain from the start’. That scene happened halfway through the movie. Your point stands that he IS the villain, but not from the start. Again, this whole ‘Nikki is the victim, Bear is the villain’ talk is so shallow for such a brilliantly nuanced movie.

(SPOILERS) There’s a point where he calls the number on the one wish willow for help, NOT to reverse the wish, but to TWEAK IT bc he still likes how Nikki is in love with him — he just doesn’t like how weird she is about it. Bear is defo the villain from the start😭

There’s no ‘perfect guy’ in BCS. But I think it’s made pretty clear by the end that Howard is a good guy. Was he a bit spineless with Chuck? Sure. Did he overreact about the ad with Kim? Yeah. But unlike everyone else, he tried to make amends. That counts for something.
