It didn't. It's been ongoing since 1999 when the Horizon system was introduced. The convictions were only overturned in 2021. 🔹Sunak said "interim payments of up to £600,000". Wrong. For those wrongly convicted and sent to jail there has been a full and final offer of £600,000. Take it or leave it. Their story is truly unimaginable and yet it has happened...and for hundreds of others it's still going on...
