Alexandria Tigers track and field team competed today at the Oak Hill Relays. The team placed 5th out of 8 teams.

Last Friday at the Madison County Track meet Ian Canfield broke the schools discus record with a throw of 158' 6" and broke the schools and County Meets shot put record with a throw of 55' 3". Congrats Ian.

The winners of last week's Tiger Award is Cannon Runyon for the boys team and Summer Gaiser for the girls team.

Outstanding Field Event Award winners from last week. For the boys team Ian Canfield and Emmie Gullion for the girls team.

Outstanding Distance Award winners from last week. For the girls team Reverie Agee and for the boys team Jack Cummins.

Outstanding Sprinting Award Winners for last week. Dallas Pierce for the boys team and Caydence Campbell for the girls team.

Weekly Tiger Award winners. Areyh Hollingsworth. Took 1st in High Jump, 3rd in 1600, and 4th in the 800 and ran an outstanding opening leg of the 4x8. Quinn Slone showed tremendous support for her teammates and ran a competitive 800 and 4x8 races.

Outstanding Distance Award Winners for the week. Aiden Kane took 1st in the 1600 and Isla Shank who ran a competitive 1600 race and 4x4 race.
