@digital_tomato Funny, I popped on for the first time in months to check a dm someone told me they had sent... couldn't agree more. We only get a finite amount of time, put it into things that grow. Hope you are well! Keep putting yourself first, even when it is difficult.

It’s been two months since I wrote that post.
Stepping away from Web3 wasn’t easy. This space has been a big part of my life—creatively, professionally, emotionally. But I knew I needed to do something different.
So I finally took that real break. I stopped showing up for everyone else and started showing up for myself. And that shift made all the difference.
Sometimes you really do need to disappear for a bit. Block out the noise. Focus on the hard work. Because that’s the only way real change happens.
I haven’t been resting. I’ve been building. Quietly. Intentionally. For me.
Next time I post, maybe I’ll share what I’ve been working on.
Or maybe I won’t.
We’ll see.
Either way, take care of yourself. No one else is going to do it for you.
And definitely not a KOL who fakes community, farms engagement, steals your time, and sells your attention to the highest bidder.
They don’t care if you burn out. They only care if you click, repost, and keep them relevant.
Stop handing over your energy to people who wouldn’t trade you a fraction of theirs. 🤍

It’s been a few days off X and… nothing exploded. So here it is: I’m stepping away from Web3. Not a big announcement. Just a quiet reset. I’ve never been a founder or a builder—just a community member who showed up a lot, maybe too much, and gave my opinions a little too freely. But I always showed up with heart. I’ve spent the last couple of years supporting others. And that mattered. But somewhere along the way, I let my own goals fade away. It’s time to change that. I need to give my Web2 aspirations the same energy I gave every GM and GN. I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be hosting @Fortune_Catz spaces (we’re back next week after a quick holiday pause). You’ll still get a tomato thought or two. Just a little less often. And my DMs are always open. This isn’t goodbye. But it is a shift. I’m still here. Just not everywhere.

@digital_tomato If its real, and a moderate to severe case, there is no such thing as a right work environment. I guarantee its getting in the way of everything they want to do, work related or not. People with untreated ADD are 60% more likely to be fired for this reason. They need treatment.

@AnandaWeb3 Absolutely valid! Definitely not making fun of this disorder at all. But if it is real which I believe it is for this person. I don’t think this is the right work environment for them because it seems to be consistently getting in the way of projects being completed.

@digital_tomato I am not saying the person at work wasn't making an excuse. I am saying that if they are not, its as valid and any other debilitating neurological condition and if not already, they need to seek treatment.

@digital_tomato I think people who think its just an excuse don't understand how real and severe ADD can be. Unfortunately, like OCD, its so often used by people who don't have it that people associate the condition with the 'joke inconvenience" version. To people debilitated by it, its no joke.
