Greetings to all our film lovers! We are incredibly excited to restart our festival with a return to the big screen after a year-plus period of on-and-off lockdown of exhibitions. With open arms (and at the appropriate distance), we welcome you back to Bali and into the cinema!

In view of the growing escalation of SARS-CoV-2, along with the restrictions imposed by CHSE health and safety protocols, and the recently extended PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions), Balinale 2021 will be rescheduled to 18-21 November. #backtobali #backtocinema

2021 may have changed our plans, but partners, stakeholders, filmmakers, and the community who place their hope in us to aid in the island’s recovery have inspired our team to keep working bring an in-person program to Bali in a way that reflects the festival's spirit.

By doing so, we believe that it is a step forward towards providing our audience with the shared experience of film and celebrate returning to the cinema in a safe environment.

Balinale brings together a gathering of global creativity by inviting local and international filmmakers, celebrities, and industry leaders to participate in the festival and experience the mystery, romance, and adventure of Bali. #balinale #bali #tourism
