🇦🇪🇺🇸 Prominent UAE Billionaire Khalaf Ahmad Al-Habtoor full letter to Trump. Mr. President Donald Trump, A direct question: Who gave you the authority to drag our region into a war with Iran? And on what basis was this dangerous decision made? Did you calculate the collateral damage before pulling the trigger? Did you consider that the first to suffer from this escalation will be the countries of the region? The people of this region also have the right to ask: Was this your decision alone, or did it come under pressure from Netanyahu and his government? You have placed the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Arab nations at the heart of a danger they did not choose. Thankfully, we are strong and capable of defending ourselves, and we have armies and defense systems protecting our nations. But the question remains: Who allowed you to turn our region into a battlefield? Before the ink dried on the Board of Peace initiative that you announced in the name of peace and stability, we now find ourselves facing military escalation that threatens the entire region. So where did those initiatives go? And what is the fate of the commitments made in the name of peace? Most of the funding proposed for those initiatives came from the region itself, and from Arab Gulf states that contributed billions of dollars on the basis of supporting stability and development. These countries have the right to ask today: Where did this money go? Are we funding peace initiatives or financing a war that puts us at risk? More dangerously, your decision does not only threaten the peoples of the region but also the American people, whom you promised peace and prosperity. Today, they find themselves in a war financed by their taxes, with costs — according to the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) — ranging between $40–65 billion for direct military operations, and potentially reaching $210 billion including economic impacts and indirect losses if the conflict lasts four to five weeks. Even Americans themselves are being sacrificed in a war they have no stake in. You also violated your promises not to get involved in wars and to focus only on America and place it as your top priority, as you ordered foreign military interventions during your second term that included seven countries: Somalia, Iraq, Yemen, Nigeria, Syria, Iran, and Venezuela, in addition to naval operations in the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific. You ordered more than 658 airstrikes abroad in your first year of rule, which is equivalent to the total number of strikes during Biden’s entire term, whom you previously criticized for dragging the United States into foreign wars. These numbers have strongly reflected on your approval ratings among Americans, which declined since the start of your second term, dropping by 9% within 400 days. These figures clearly show something: Even within the United States, there is growing concern about being dragged into a new war and about putting American lives, the economy, and the future at risk unnecessarily. True leadership is not measured by war decisions but by wisdom, respect for others, and pushing toward peace. If these initiatives were launched in the name of peace, then we have the right today to demand full transparency and clear accountability.

The ongoing, U.S.–Israeli strike campaign against Iran popularly referred to as Operation Epic Fury, has already triggered global protests and domestic dissent in the U.S. and abroad. Demonstrations opposing the 2026 Iran war have erupted across American cities and internationally, with people demanding an end to foreign military intervention. During the current conflict, his public profile has been quieter than other senior officials, raising questions about whether he is distancing himself from the administration’s approach. People around the world and especially in democratic societies have access to real information about the human, economic, and political costs of war. That transparency means governments that are perceived as unresponsive to popular concerns about conflict and its impacts risk long‑term political costs. And just as importantly, people remember when leaders listen, or fail to listen, to what citizens are saying. In a democratic context, disconnects between government actions and public sentiment often shape electoral outcomes just as much as policy itself.

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 The Iran war is already shaping 2028 Vance hasn't decided whether to run in 2028, telling close associates his fourth child coming this summer and family life take priority. But the people around him are already gaming out how this war defines the next Republican primary. If the conflict drags on for months, whoever seeks the GOP nomination will have to answer for it. Vance built his political identity on opposing forever wars. Now he's the vice president of an administration running one. @HappyPunch Wow, that’s really something. If that video is real, Jose Benavidez Jr. admitting it and saying he’s sorry shows a lot of maturity. Him even adding “God bless you, brother” is just next-level respect, true men right there handling things like grown-ups. 👏

So while the sheer volume of strikes by U.S. and Israeli forces demonstrates intense coordinated military pressure, a strategic view reminds us that: 🎯Strike quantity isn’t the same as decisive strategic collapse. 🎯Iran’s military depth and adaptability remain significant factors. 🎯Enduring capabilities, such as missile inventories, dispersed defenses, and regional influence, mean the conflict is far from settled. In other words, these strikes aim to weaken Iran’s systems, but they don’t magically erase Iran’s strengths. Any long‑term outcome will depend on how both sides adapt, conserve resources, and integrate diplomatic and ground strategies, not just air power alone.

What used to be uninteresting, a run around the deck, can suddenly become real‑time location intelligence that others can exploit. In that sense, this isn’t just a simple mistake: it exposes a gap between personal digital habits and broader economic/security realities. The cost of such leaks isn’t just embarrassing, it can affect military operations, intelligence balances, and the way countries allocate resources to protect sensitive information. So while the carrier’s broader deployment may have been publicly known, revealing its real‑time coordinates through a fitness app was still a serious lapse, one that underscores how intertwined economics, technology, and national security are today.

A French naval officer unknowingly revealed the location of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle by sharing a public workout on the fitness app Strava. His run, recorded at sea, made it possible to pinpoint the carrier’s position in the Mediterranean near Cyprus. Although the carrier’s deployment was public, sharing its exact real-time location is a serious security risk. Source: Le Monde

I genuinely feel this conflict with Iran has exposed a lot of real geopolitical fault lines. Some countries that claimed to be close allies haven’t been really consulted before decisions were made that impact the whole world, and that awkwardness reveals a deeper truth about how fragile some of these relationships really are. Many nations are choosing their own interests first, and that shift shows how much the global order is being tested right now.

Global dynamics are evolving rapidly, and a self-centered ‘only me’ approach is no longer sustainable, as many countries are eager to see a dominant superpower lose its grip. Superpowers may need to rethink how they treat other sovereign nations if they want to preserve the status quo. At the same time, China’s expanding reach, alongside its alignment with Russia, could become increasingly hard to control.

The way I see it, Iran’s strikes aren’t random, they’re a calculated response in a conflict that’s already spiraled beyond its original scope. When one country’s critical energy infrastructure gets hit, retaliation is almost inevitable, especially when people feel betrayed or targeted. But here’s the simple human context: if you host someone who is seen as an enemy by your neighbor, your neighbor is going to feel threatened. That doesn’t justify violence, but it does explain why tensions can explode the way they have. Countries act on perceived security threats just like individuals do. And if what we truly value is peace and brotherhood, then we have to ask ourselves, why are we letting old disputes and modern alliances drag innocent people and civilian infrastructure into this? War only deepens wounds and prolongs suffering; it’s not how you build peace. At this point, the only way forward is dialogue and de-escalation, not more cycles of attack and retaliation. Because nobody wins when the world’s energy lifelines and ordinary lives become tools of war.

The cancellation of the season featuring Taylor Frankie Paul wasn’t random, it came after serious real-life controversy resurfaced right before the premiere. From what’s been reported, a video showing a past domestic incident involving her and her ex-partner suddenly came out, and at the same time there was an ongoing domestic violence investigation between both of them. That combination, the footage, legal tension, and public backlash, made the situation too sensitive for the network to continue. ABC basically stepped back, saying they wanted to prioritize the wellbeing of the family involved rather than push the show forward.

Hearing a father speak like that, with that kind of hurt, it goes beyond boxing or money… it’s something deeper. No matter what’s happened, seeing a father and son drift this far apart is just sad. I really hate seeing relationships like this break down. At the end of the day, titles, fame, and millions don’t replace family. I just hope somehow, with time, they find their way back to each other, because some bonds are too important to lose.
