Revising the footage of the attack on our dear colleagues and friends Steve and Ali:
The strike was carried out by an american made GBU-38, carrying a MK-82 500 pounds warhead with 200 pounds of explosives and a 300 pounds of forged steel warhead that was made in purpose to be transformed to thousands of shrapnels upon impact.
What save both of them was a combination of good luck, fast reaction from Steve as an experienced war reporter wearing body armor (should have been wearing his helmet), and the fact that the bomb missed the concrete by some 50 cm and went inside the previous hole and exploded under the bridge, which saved the journalists from the shrapnels and the direct shock wave.

Insane footage! RT correspondants Steve Sweeney and Ali Reda Sbaity, were injured and taken to hospital when the zionist strike on al Qasmiyeh bridge in Tyre region happened an hour ago. This is a double war crime: targeting civilian infrastructure and attacking journalists. They have injuries by shrapnels in their bodies, and they are receiving medical. @SweeneySteve @AliRida_SB

This book was written from inside my tent…
under the sound of shelling, between fear, cold, and hunger.
Every day, I wrote to tell what we are living here in Gaza.
These are not just words,
but a whole life written between pain and hope.
I hope you read it…
maybe my words will reach your hearts,
and maybe you will understand what we are going through.

From the bottom of my heart, I hope this Eid brings happiness to each and every one of us.
All I wish for is that it marks the beginning of safety, comfort, and stability; that it comes bearing goodness for us, and that the days ahead bring a bit of peace and joy, even if just a little, so we can feel the moments of Eid as the world outside Gaza does.
Eid Mubarak to all friends and loved ones, and may each day bring us a new ray of hope.

A DREAM I NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE
On March 17th, I received an email that changed everything.
But I only saw it the next day — on my birthday.
It was an offer for an intercalated MSc at the University of Bristol… something I’ve dreamed about for years. I truly couldn’t have imagined a more meaningful gift.
I’m planning to apply for a scholarship, but to secure my place, I had to pay a £2000 deposit urgently. Because of your kindness and support, I was able to cover it.
And not just that — you helped me do what once felt impossible. You helped me cover my final years of medical school and clear a significant debt I owed to my university. After everything we lost during the genocide, I never imagined this could happen… not even in my wildest dreams.
I’m 25 now, and in just a few days, so many of the things I’ve been fighting for have started to come true. None of this would have been possible without you — your support, your belief, your compassion.
My next step is completing an English proficiency test (which I’m confident about) to receive an unconditional offer. After that, I’ll apply for an internal Bristol scholarship, which may partially fund my tuition.
I don’t know what the outcome will be, but I will do everything I can.
Even if I’m accepted, I will still need support. The total program cost is around £31,000 and I will also need help with travel and accommodation.
But today, I just want to say this:
Because of you, dreams that once felt impossible are now within reach.
Thank you for believing in me. for standing by me, and for giving me a chance to keep going.
I carry your kindness with me in every step forward. I will keep you all in my prayers.❤️
