🏀𝗡𝗕𝗔 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆🎄 🎅𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 (𝗦𝗔𝗦) 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟳.𝟱 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 (-𝟭𝟮𝟴 𝗙𝗗) Betting on an OKC defensive bounce back here after loosing 2 straight to the Spurs and allowing 130 points to them on Tuesday. Let's not forget they are the best relative defense of all time. Yes I know that Castle went over this line in both of these teams' matchups, but in those games he shot 6/11 (55%) from 3. Castle is simply nowhere that level of shooter, and he is not even a good shooter. He's 30% on the year and shot 28% last year. Even after watching parts of both of those games, I still just hate the matchup here. OKC is amazing at defending Castle's greatest strengths, and unless he lights it up from 3 again I think they will adjust well and neutralize him. Castle gets 67% of his points in the paint and in transition. The Thunder are both the best paint defense in the NBA and the best transition defense in the NBA. OKC allows the fewest points in the paint per game, the lowest shot frequency inside of 6 feet as well as the fewest points per possession in transition on the lowest opp FG% and the 4th lowest frequency. Another thing to note, Stephon Castle spent more time guarding SGA in their last meeting than any other matchup from any other 2 players in that game. He is the primary SGA defender, putting him at high risk of foul trouble. On top of the foul trouble this is still the Thunder, and we still get a 10 point spread so blowout is a very real possibility. #GamblingX #NBA

WOLVES @ NUGGETS Wolves: - Give up the 3rd lowest catch and shoot frequency. - Allow the highest pull up 2P frequency. Jamal Murray loves his pull up 2s. - Allow the 3rd lowest FG% in the restricted area. Rudy Gobert effect. - Not a great transition defense. Bottom 10 in both PPP and FG%. Nuggets: - Really good defensive rebounding team and keeping opponents off the glass. They allow the 4th lowest opp OREB%. Could hinder Gobert's play. - Very discipline team as well, allowing the 6th lowest opp FTA rate. - Really limit attempts at the rim too. They allow the 3rd lowest frequency of opp shot attempts inside of 6 feet. - Struggle a lot in transition. They are a 13th percentile transition defense allowing the 5th most PPP.
