Guys, think about this for a minute. Why is the gay community always- forever -framed as needing to be lifted up, coddled, promoted, and celebrated? Why the constant call for allies and special protection? I can’t imagine spending my life as a gay man always needing to be helped. That victim mentality doesn’t empower anyone- it harms, because it never ends. You are not weak. You do not need to be coddled. And you are not a victim.
