We kicked off our new Bionic\VEST-2 research project about vestibular implants. This 3-year project receives 2.5M EUR funding by the @EUeic It aims to develop a viable implantable solution for the treatment of severe balance disorders.

The second cochleo-vestibular patient from las palmas has been activated today. The patient (and us) is very happy with the initial outcomes. Great news! In a few week Rome will do their first activation.

Done! First cochleo-vestibular implanted patient in #Italy. The surgery was a complete success. In a month will be the activation. Now all clinical centers involved in the first multi-centric study of otolith-vestibular implant has at least one patient. #GreatMonday
