Meteora, a stunning complex of monsteries perching atop towering rock pillars in Greece. Meteora means 'suspended into the air' and for centuries, monks had to use rope ladders to reach the monasteries.

Pretend I'm an idiot, what is the best read on the background and motivation of China being a fucking expansionist dick to all its neighbors

@SwiftOnSecurity If reminds me a little of Dumas, so I enjoy the style quite a lot.

@mobdizzle @SonnyBunch Thematically she had something coming for her actions (getting him fired), & the scare from her son's endangerment fits with the idea of not considering how your actions can jeopardize people you didn't think you were putting at risk. And it got her and her son back in the action

@SonnyBunch Big plot holes i need help with- -The framing of Cousineau made no sense, and even if it did how would Barry have been immortalized after murdering someone - Cousineau’s lawyer, The other detective and Sally knew the truth -who attacked sally and john while barry was away?

@VictorinoMatus @SubBeacon Long time listener, first time tweeter. Thanks for the many, many laughs! It always amazed me how smoothly you made this look. The show won't be the same without you, and you'll be missed.

Thanks to all the @SubBeacon listeners for their kind words. After 6+ years it was time for me to move on. Keep listening. Until next time… (I was going to take a poll about my stepping down but I was leaving regardless!)

@SwiftOnSecurity Knife, flashlight, pen, scissors, file, flat head small enough to use on Phillips, and in a tiny package, so I can carry it in my pocket. Just so incredibly handy. Victorinox Swiss Army Signature Lite Pocket Knife a.co/d/3648c7j

What is something you have, with no sentimental value, where you have researched the alternatives, which you would never trade for literally anything else of any price?

@SonnyBunch Probably for in-store advertising in electronics departments and stores? Did anyone else buy those DTS demo discs and those Dolby trailers? Fun way to show off your system.

Every once in a while I’ll throw in an older Blu-ray and it’ll have, like, an ad for “The Blu-ray experience” and I’ve always wondered who, exactly, these are aimed at. I’m already enjoying the Blu-ray experience! You don’t have to sell me on it!

@gjdunga @mountdiscovery You can do it manually, but they change so don't wait too long: look up how to find them, create a shortcut to them in a folder, save the big files to another folder, use cmd and then ren *.* *.jpg, then move the ones you want to another folder and set background to that folder

@adam__whitford You should read the piece. That is, to a degree, what the author is saying.

@adam__whitford Name calling, which is highly offensive. But you don't arrest people for that. The State is too blunt an instrument for such

@adam__whitford The piece did touch on that (which is addressed in current law) but it goes on to cover what is essentially name calling.

@adam__whitford Not at all what I said. I'm curious though, are you agreeing with the New Yorker's reasoning for less free speech?
