There are already very few buyers out there. Original ideas and non legacy IP is extremely hard to get made by a major studio or network. The winnowing down of choices results in less opportunity for new voices and diverse viewpoints in what we all are given the opportunity to see. It’s already been challenging for years, and the merger will only make this worse.

HBO was the only streamer willing to make “I Know This Much Is True”. Very difficult material. We won an Emmy and a Golden globe for it. Knocking out even one streaming service, or combining even two, would have made “I Know This Much Is True” impossible to get made.

BREAKING: We just won our antitrust trial against @LiveNation and @Ticketmaster.
Live Nation has raked in billions in profits from an illegal monopoly that coerces venues, restricts artists, and exploits fans.
DC and a bipartisan coalition of 33 states refused to join DOJ's settlement because it failed to hold Live Nation accountable.
Now, a jury has declared Live Nation to be an illegal monopoly — and awarded damages for years of exploitation.
This is a massive win in the fight for fairness for local venues, artists, and fans.

The Wizards could’ve arrived here with Avdija if they didn’t waste 4 years giving touches to Westbrook, Dinwiddie and other mid PGs. They drafted a 6-8 point forward but didn’t give him the ball. Never made sense. The Blazers figured out how to use Deni basically right away.
