Hey, does anyone else have no idea what they’re doing?

@RealManInCharge @cindylynn_ Twitter can easily identify these accounts and silence them if they become problematic. It’s their right. Twitter followers aren’t accurate accounts of real world happenings, they are like book characters, that can be written in or written out as the author pleases.

@BossManInCharge @cindylynn_ There is nothing specifically wrong with that, but it can be abused to create false support ahead of elections or give the illusion that someone has 88 million followers, when the majority of them are repeat or fake accounts.

Should twitter be picking sides or choosing whose voices are heard?

@RealManInCharge @cindylynn_ I could pretend I was some different and create the illusion that there were lots of people who agreed with me.

@cindylynn_ I have 2 other accounts, i could have 2000 if i wanted, but if I started using them all to push the same narrative then it would create an illusion of support.

I feel like we are downplaying the “a couple of bombs found” part of the day idk

@_Katiebyy69 it actually started a month or more ago to counter election bots, so i’m not sure if they’ll keep it or not.

@_Katiebyy69 It’s an anti bot feature they added to prevent spamming of misinformation. Just hit the tweet button without typing anything and it’ll retweet.
