@Uhchire_Wolf Great story. I ignored the occasional decree by Lucas back then about the games and novels. Shadows was an awesome addition. In my head canon select EU books perfectly tell the remaining Skywalker story. Shadows was a cool story and fit nicely in between ESB and ROTJ.

Shadows of the Empire was supposed to be canon and when George Lucas changed his mind I never read any of the extended Universe stuff cause I figured it didn't matter to the overall story...

Phil Collins is a complete rarity in a UK context; he’s the Prog bloke, that people at The Pub could relate to. He laid the groundwork to utterly capture Pop, whilst maintaining an absolute sense of authenticity. Even if you don’t dig it - you never think he doesn’t mean it.

I know. I allowed a bunch of novices to hit Fast Forward on the part of their careers when they would carefully be establishing a library of work and a fanbase over a long period of time. And for some reason, they don't value that and show no appreciation for what I gave them. Children! Go figure. lol

On vacation and grabbing some dinner. Walked into an upscale restaurant and got a seat at the bar. The guy next to me is wearing fine clothes and has purchased a bottle of wine. He’s swirling and sniffing before every sip. Contemplating every taste. Affirmatively grunting quietly to show his sophistication. I’m crushing some local beer on draft and I don’t know what it’s called. And I’m wearing gym clothes. The dichotomy of man. I somehow feel like I’m much happier in life.
