Khiry White is a 6’4 freshman forward and one of the most intriguing young prospects in South Carolina. The Class of 2029 standout plays for Irmo High School in Columbia, South Carolina and helped lead the program to a strong 20-8 record while advancing to the third round of the SCHSL 5A Division II State Tournament. White averaged 11|6| and 2 stocks per game while shooting an efficient 53 percent from the field, consistently flashing his upside on both ends of the floor. Offensively, White thrives attacking the basket, using his length, body control, and athleticism to get downhill, create paint touches, and finish effectively around the rim. He runs the floor hard in transition, where he is a constant threat for highlight dunks, and shows the ability to handle the ball well for his size, beating defenders to the spot. While still developing as a perimeter scorer, he has fluid shooting mechanics with a high release point that make his midrange jumper difficult to contest, and with continued development, he projects to become a reliable shooter from all levels. White also impacts the game on the glass, using his length and vertical explosiveness to crash the offensive glass for putbacks and second chance opportunities. Defensively, he uses his burst and long arms to jump passing lanes, generate deflections, and serve as an effective weakside rim protector. With his combination of athleticism, length, and natural feel for the game, White is a name to watch closely this spring with Team USC and throughout the rest of his high school career @Khiwitdabutter @CoachQuillen4 @AndrewBaxleySC @Uorangemen2
