@poe_collector Some of us who read the books wound up wanting to be animals more than others. 😅 I'd frequently reread the descriptions of being in "animal form" and wish I could do that. I loved the canine forms, the descriptions of sounds and smells made up for loss of color.

Animorphs was huge for me as a kid and the books became increasingly more serious as I aged with them. They came out when I was 8; I was reading at a college level and longed for more emotionally challenging stuff. These helped shape my sense of morality at a very young age.
