The CFC Family Support Team have come together in Lancaster from all of our offices, to continue plans for the new Life Skills Project. This project has been designed for our young people to help prepare them for independence. The pilot will be launching soon! 🚀

Our young foster children had a great learning experience during our first aid awareness course today. At CFC investing in our children means empowering their future. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and dedication to learning vital life skills.

Dawn has been a foster carer with her husband Gary for 9 years. When asked about her favourite fostering moment, Dawn shared something truly special. 'My favourite fostering moment is getting permeance for our girls who have lived with us for nearly 3 years. We are delighted!'

We recently held our annual carers Christmas lunch where we were joined by guest speaker Nick Barwick. All our carers had a great day, and this was a great excuse to come together, catch up and enjoy a good festive meal. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Last week was the turn of our Gloucester office to play host to our carers' wreath-making event. This year we welcomed local charity @youthatheart22 who ran the session. Thank you to both Nikki and Audrey for helping everyone create beautiful festive decor!

We know families don’t foster for financial gain, but having the money to provide for a child is so important. Our belief is that foster families need a realistic income to be successful, which is why we pay up to £670.12 per week, per child. bit.ly/3sJTAwm
