@PalmyrPar incorrect. she should have died during the clone wars, with Anakin being unable to save her despite having a vision of ther peril, and trying to stop it. this would help explain why Anakin is so desperate and worried at his visions of padme's danger.

@saracen_heath I have always thought that it was the other way around. Those series that came out around the same time (i.e. gears, halo) are usually about humanity losing the war, and the struggle to keep going. It’s about struggling to find a purpose and reason to the violence and chaos
