@laviincompae Por muchos motivos pero principalmente porque el actualmente el movimiento obrero no está ni se le espera, no existe un movimiento amplio de masas vinculado a ninguna organización y presentarse a las elecciones, por el motivo que sea, es no comprender en donde se está.

Estoy bastante hartito últimamente de que a la militancia del MS se nos trate desde ciertos grupúsculos como "niñatos que no han trabajado en su vida" como si eso fuera un argumento de peso, y además, todo cristo aquí curramos como bestias para llegar a fin de mes.

people think that being a socialist, or being involved in any kind of political activism, is weird! the word "comrade" is one of the easiest parts to get used to - people acclimatise pretty quickly.

People think socialists saying “comrade” is weird and that’s probably reason enough not to use it, its not that complicated lol. It’s not even a 2nd international or 90s phenomenon, look at Zohran today for example. There’s a reason he never says it and uses “friends” etc instead

@harbingerofwoke It was cringe in 2017 but by 2020 there existed a real mass organization that makes it not weird. Yes it might sound odd at first to people not used to hearing it but once the party becomes an inescapable fact of life for someone it gets normalized

Prior to ‘comrade’ being adopted by the second international people in the movement referred to each other as ‘citizen’. It’s funny to want to reproduce Browder’s ‘retreat from class’. That whole shtick was already tried in the 90s and produced nothing but disorientation
