@thepaulwilliams Another question of consistency unfortunately! I incorrectly thought the law was there to stop forcing a penalty for a tackle in the air over safety However how many times have you seen this law enforced? The try line seems to negate many of these laws including high shots

There's a reason you're not allowed to jump into tackles in rugby union. If you've ever taken a knee to the head, you'll know why. HIAs would go through the roof.

Showing someone why rugby isn’t boring and can be exciting with a bit of magic from Blair Murray to bring the game within a score… for the TMO to come interfere AGAIN to disallow for something on the half way line that happens on most try lines!
