He comes up with his own ideas, a genAI cannot come up with it's own ideas, it grabs the ideas from information already processed. Caine was capable of creation, genAI only does replication

Kinger quite literally said CREATIVE AI not GENERATIVE AI. Gen AI as we currently have it is not actually Artificial Intelligence. it can’t think, it can’t feel. Without humans it would collapse.

@CleanUpNick @broboimation A generative ai can only create things that are a mix of the data it was trained on, while caine, who was only give pictures of places and objects in the real world, was able to create and understand abstract concepts, like story, Memory, identity, beauty, etc.

And if the whole reason they stopped using him had to do with not getting the wanted responses: then it would imply that he didn't know how to respond properly to the second set of images.

@CleanUpNick @broboimation Thing about gAI is you can feed it all the data you like, but it won't blindly know unless you give it predefined references. That's the whole crux of image identification and why it fails when given an abstract or unknown subject that doesn't exist within it's database.

@broboimation how... how do you think Gen AI works? you feed it a bunch of context through images and videos and then it creates new stuff based on that context and a prompt, literally the only difference is Caine is semi conscious enough to be the one making the prompts
