What a month - the 10-year Treasury yield had risen more than 50 basis points on an intraday basis from the end of February through last Friday. Optimism around the outlook for the war has pulled yields down a bit, but we don't expect a sustained move back below 4% given inflation pressures, fiscal concerns, and the repricing of Fed policy.

The 10-year Treasury yield rose to 4.48% this morning, its highest level since last July. Inflation concerns should keep yields elevated and volatility may continue. We're cautious around taking too much interest rate risk today, preferring short- and intermediate-term maturities.
