Why not combine Kwekwe & Redcliff into one city? Centre to centre distance between Kwekwe & Redcliff is merely 16km, & the edges of each town < 12km. Both towns are building residential areas towards each other. Redcliff was originally built as a township for ZISCO, since ZISCO's collapse it has struggled with services, there is no benefit for it being standalone. Kwekwe can absorb the extra rate payers.

Someone was contracted to resurface Sandringham Dr. They worked from Tongogara up to the intersection with Falmouth. From there, they did one lane and left the other side towards ZimParks. It’s been like this for a while and I hope they haven’t forgotten to complete the job.

If this happens, fuel can go down to under $2 per litre for both diesel and petrol. •Petrol would be far much cheaper if it wasn’t blended. It makes little sense under the current global energy environment for all petrol vehicle drivers to carry the Green Fuels burden. Green Fuels is adding value to no one except Billy Rautenbach.

I need to address this. We are building an organization. By it's nature, an ORGANIZATION has to be ORGANIZED. We have to know our members. We need to know those who share the same values as us, and also who to call upon when we need something done. We are providing tools for ORGANIZATION, STRUCTURE and RECRUITMENT. The constitution of CDF is very clear, it is a Civic organization that will not turn into a political party. That said, we appreciate other organizations whom we consider allies. Some of the tools we are building are open for use by everyone regardless of whether you are a member or not eg writing to parliament via Whatsapp. On the web we wouldn't do that for security reasons. I hope this helps.

Heavy rainfall has caused flooding in several parts of Nairobi, including Parklands, CBD, Ngong Road (Ngando area), Lower Kabete, Kibera, Kilimani, South B, Kawangware, Lang’ata, Lavington, Eastleigh and Riruta. Major traffic disruptions have been reported along the Expressway (Museum Hill exit), Limuru Road, Bunyala Road, Lusaka Road and parts of the CBD. Both Nairobi and Ngong rivers have overflowed, causing riverine flooding. Kenya Red Cross Aqua Rescue teams are on the ground. So far, 11 people have been rescued from a marooned matatu along Bunyala Road and two children rescued from a flooded house in Kilimani.
