Next month, I'll be rewatching SAO for the first time in a few years. To be as objective as possible, I will try and detach myself from the affection I have for the series as much as I can, especially now that I've watched even more anime since the last time I watched SAO, along other movies and shows. I'll just meet the series where it's at and analyse it scientifically and objectively as I always have, this time with better critical thinking faculties and even more experience with the anime medium.
