The amends were not passed in the end. But we use this example to show that there are routes to growth independence within the welfare system, by identifying & transforming the underlying structures that generate them. Our job now is finding momentum & support for such changes /9

We demonstrated this in principle for the care sector, with cross-party support for amends to the UK's Health&SocialCare Bill 2022 that would have reduced GD *and* generated +ve outcomes for workers & residents 👉cusp.ac.uk/themes/appg/he… /8
