👋 Welcome to County! Say hello to our U8s, who are our newest recruits at Edgeley Park! 🏟️ The players were given a County shirt, with their very own Legacy Number, before receiving a message from County's first-team! #StockportCounty

Throughout the 2025/26 season, we continued to deliver a range of half term activities designed around our Academy values: 🥋 October – Taekwondo 🏀 February – Basketball 🧗 Easter – Rock Climbing These experiences encouraged teamwork, resilience, communication and confidence.

For the second season running, we hosted the U14 Constraint Based Cup 🏆 This season’s final saw Blackburn Rovers face Burnley at Edgeley Park, with Blackburn Rovers crowned champions following a closely contested 2-1 victory 👏 #StockportCounty

🙌 That means over 55% of all Academy match official appointments in 2025/26 have supported the development pathway for emerging referees and assistant referees! #StockportCounty #CountyAcademy

💙 For the past three seasons, we have proudly supported the development of the next generation of match officials. Across the 2025/26 season, we saw: 148 fixtures delivered 296 match official appointments 164 appointments provided to young match officials in training

💙 Our scholars delivered a fun end of year event for our Under 8s last week! It was great to bring together the players in the academy with high energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved! A good way to finish the season and connect different parts of the pathway at County!
