How to Win Against Your Old Self Have you ever been extremely motivated, yet still end up in the same place you were trying to escape? You learn from your mistakes. At times you are highly motivated and actively absorb new knowledge. You genuinely want to improve. Yet over time, the same old patterns seem to catch up with you again. It can feel like swimming against a powerful current (main trend, old-self). For a moment, you manage to push forward. Sometimes it even looks promising. But eventually your old habits and behaviors, pulls you back. (main trend) So how do you get past this turning point? How do you overcome a deeply rooted pattern? In my view, there are two main ways. 1. Rock Bottom The first path is what people often call rock bottom. When you reach this point, the direction is often only upward. This does not mean that things cannot get worse. Life can always dig deeper if nothing changes. However, reaching this point often forces a shift. From there, small wins start to matter. Small improvements accumulate and sometimes create a powerful initial momentum. That momentum can trigger a major turning point, the beginning of a new long term trend in your life. (Old main trend -> New main trend) 2. Strategic Brainwashing The second method is what I call strategic brainwashing. It is extremely powerful, but it requires a certain type of mindset. First, you must clearly define the person (New main trend) you want to become. What does this new version of you look like? How do he think? How do they act? How do they approach challenges? Once you understand this clearly, you begin acting according to that identity in small, consistent ways. You complete small challenges the way that person would. Over time something important happens. Your beliefs begin to shift. What once felt like blind faith slowly transforms into certainty. You no longer hope the system works. You know it works because you have seen the evidence through your own actions. Eventually you reach a turning point. (Old trend - New trend) At first the old identity is the "strong trend" and the new identity is the "weak one". But through repeated action the balance begins to shift. Then something powerful happens. The new identity gains momentum. From that point forward every setback no longer pulls you back to your old self. (main trend is more powerful than short trend) Instead it strengthens the new person you are becoming. (Pullback -> Continuation) The trend has reversed. You have strategically taken control of your mind. And when you control the input, outcome will follow naturally. Input > Outcome.

@SimpleRange Most traders fail because they don’t develop their mindset progressively. 💯

"Either be quiet, learn from those ahead, or stay trapped in narcissism, learn nothing, and remain a slave to the game." 🎯

One of the main reasons most crypto investors don’t feel the need to use stop-losses is because they don’t have significant size on their positions. If they did, watching six or seven figures vanish from a single bag would be painful. They’re fine with the loss as long as they can keep their day job. After all, what’s -$500 right? But now imagine -$500K just because you didn’t take the time to make a proper plan for the investment. This is precisely why so many people remain in the space even after being completely wrecked by poor investment choices. They’ve reached a point where venting their frustration becomes the focus, often targeting the most successful players. It’s like the saying goes: "People want to see you do well, but never better than them" There are entirely different leagues in this space, and while everyone has a voice, fair in terms of free speech, it’s absurd when small players feel entitled to call out or try to school those operating at much higher levels. Every so often, I see a bigger player miss a forecast and get hit with a wave of hate from people whose entire portfolios barely match half of a single position of that bigger player - people who toss $50 into several random shi*coins. Either be quiet, learn from those ahead, or stay trapped in narcissism, learn nothing, and remain a slave to the game.

If/when we see strong bullish reaction at the MOB and the narrative shifts to calling “bottom” once price moves back above 2k, I’ll retweet this post. At that time, I’ll share my short setup targeting new lows where I plan to become a buyer again. Sharp drop into new lows in second part of this year.

ETH In terms of macro reversals, single tap bottom is very rare. If price shows a strong bullish reaction on the first touch without any accumulation, it often means large players (whales) were unable to fill all of their orders. Because of this, price often returns to sweep those lows later, creating double bottom structure before leaving that pricearea behind. This secondary move allows institutions to complete their positioning. One potential area to watch would be 1M order block around $1200. (exteme discount) Overall, this is something to keep in mind if highquality entry opportunities appear before summer.

Insane R.R I’ve been thinking about how broken this game can be. When Bitcoin can be held within a 1–2% range for over 20 hours after taking key liquidity, it really makes you question how much insider or gray-area trading is actually going on, even if it’s technically allowed. Yes,we could still go higher, lower, or simply keep ranging here longer...
