What is the coolest / most unique autographed item in your collection? This is mine. I was at the game Nolan Ryan set the strikeout record. Sent my ticket stub to his foundation a couple of years back to get signed. @CardPurchaser

For anyone who uses StubHub to buy/sell tickets, a cautionary post... I purchased four tickets to all three sessions of March Madness in St Louis on March 20 and 22 for $2000 total. When Illinois did not end up in the STL bracket, I sold the tickets on Stubhub on March 15...

Back when Chicago was great. Burt Hooton's no hitter almost 54 years ago on April 16, 1972. It was his only his 4th career major league start. The legendary Jack Brickhouse with the call. Hooton was involved in one of the worst trades the Cubs have ever made. It's not as bad as Lou Brock. Hooton was traded to the Dodgers for sore armed pitcher Geoff Zahn, who was later released and signed by the Twins and had a good major league career. On another note. Let's make Illinois great again and flip it red.
