I don’t support expansion until 7 out of the 10 teams in the NBL are profitable without having to rely on finals revenue. Long term sustainability is very important for all clubs and the long term success of the league. This is an issue for all clubs and ultimately impacts fans through higher ticket prices in order to help reduce financial losses.

I have no insight (beyond anything either of us can find online) into the profitability or not from anytime near those years (10+ years ago). When we get producing annual reports, people will be able to read year to year on where spending is going, what's changing year to year etc.

@WildcatsMark @Haydenfreedom Put a team on the floor thats capable of winning a finals game, just one or two games would help your bottom line. Plenty of members have handed in their memberships due to the lack of effort. Raise the bar Mark. Making finals is not enough.

It's not my place to comment on the individual finances of other teams but I can say that the Wildcats weren't profitable last financial year, won't be profitable this financial year (we are investing in long term growth inititives) and we are looking to produce a transparent annual report each financial year.
