On the occasion of 76th Republic Day Sh. S.B.K. Singh, I.P.S., D G Home Guards unfurled national flag with the Traditional Parade and in his address paid tribute to freedom fighters and extended his greetings to all Home Guards and their family

62nd Raising Day of the Directorate General Home Guards, Delhi was celebrated on 06.12.2024 with traditional Parade at its Parade Ground. Sh. S.B.K.Singh Director General inspected the Parade, released E-Souvenir and felicitated award winners.

Hon’ble LG distributed offer letters for enrolment of 1226 new Home guards today .

Initiative by DGHG to open Salary a/c with AXIS bank with free Accidental Insurance cover is proving a fruitful initiative for families of HG volunteer. 1st time in history of Home Guard AXIS Bank has issued Accidental Insured amount of Rs 54 Lacs to family of Late Shri Ajeet.

Location Based Online Attendance System designed by NIC for marking of attendance of HomeGuard Volunteers at place of duty was launched today by Sh. S.B.K.Singh, IPS DG HG. It will eliminate the travel time required for marking of attendance and bring transparency in the system.

Beneficiary Award Ceremony was organised on 23-02-24 to give Chq. of Rs 54 Lac to Smt. Suman,Nominee of Late Sh. Ajeet, HG Volunteer as Personal Accident Insurance .Sh. S.B.K.Singh,IPS DG HomeGuards & Sh. Sanjay Kansal,Axis Bank were present as mark of solidarity with the family.

Inauguration of Lift at the HQrs of Directorate General of Home Guards, Raja Garden Delhi was done on 23 Feb. 2024 by Sh. S.B.K.Singh, IPS DG Home Guards. Facility of lift was a long time need especially for special abled persons and persons with infirmities.
