Hyperliquid now trades more oil, gold, and silver than crypto. People will eventually start to realize crypto isn’t about crypto but about offering a more realistic and efficient infrastructure for any type of exchange. That goes from proof, reputation and alike to trading, real world assets and more. Hyperliquid is killing it. Look at that chart, green in a see of red.

I do think Democrats need to agree to pass something that adds verification to the voting process just so all the people who have been duped by Trump into thinking there is massive voter fraud feel like the election process is fair. It'll be more disenfranchising to Republicans.

i don’t understand why the left is against voter id while simultaneously saying how it won’t make a difference because people aren’t illegally voting so then pass the law? if the results are the same and it makes no difference, it takes away the talking point

@BillyM2k The good faith argument is that it makes it more difficult for people to vote legally and we want people participating in the system.

Last year, Donald Trump Jr. invested in a rare earths startup at a $200 million valuation. Then three months later, the US government announced a huge loan backstop for the company and now it's worth around $2 billion. bloomberg.com/news/features/…

We had a good thing, you stupid son of a bitch. We had an AI super cycle. We had deflationary growth. You could've shut your mouth, grifted, and made as much money as you ever needed. It was perfect. But no. You just had to blow it up. You. And your pride and your ego.

Export controls on oil is the most Trump aligned policy I've ever seen. Gets to deflect blame, hurt Europe, hurt oil companies, get gas prices to go down, and everyone will need to grovel and beg for him to change his mind. Everything he loves in one policy.

I don’t understand this either. Futures are not a perfect risk neutral forecasts/expectations of the future prices, but they surely can’t be untethered to them either? If everyone expected crude spot to go up to $150 and remain there, futures will go up a lot. The fact that futures aren’t lower reflect risk-adjusted expectations that oil prices will eventually come down. What am I missing?

The econ pedants really need to stop with their “futures curve is not a price forecast” nonsense. If it’s a liquid tradeable asset what else could it be?
