@sw_holocron It started out rough and it definitely had some lore issues. But it did have amazing fight scenes and I felt it got better as the season progressed. I would watch a Season 2.

While Star Trek has many beautiful ships, I don't think any will ever beat the Enterprise E, this is Peak Trek design. What's your favourite?

@QuiGonJenna The Last Jedi felt like it was made by someone who had never seen a Star Wars film. Not every SW film is a masterpiece, but this film was a series of deliberate choices that made no sense that caused harm to the series as a whole.

"He's doing this for a reason. He's stalling so we can escape." I saw a post earlier that said that Episode 8 robbed fans of seeing Luke Skywalker as a hero, & while I understand that everyone has different tastes (which is fine), I have to disagree because in my personal opinion, Luke was the very definition of what a hero should be during the events of The Last Jedi, particularly its climax. Seeing him at his lowest point early in the film only makes what comes later that much more impactful, I feel. It's a lesson in never giving up, no matter how much you may have stumbled. While his characterization may at first seem shocking, him growing beyond his initial self-loathing & defeatist mindset & re-discovering his place in the Light is incredible to see. His galaxy-spanning Force projection (one of the most powerful Force abilities portrayed in canon) during his reunion with Kylo/Ben, him choosing to face-down the First Order alone & to sacrifice himself in order to save the fledgling Resistance, inspired millions (if not more) throughout the universe, as seen in the final moments of the film with the children on Cantonica. He became even more of a hero, even more of a legend, because of the events on Crait. Luke Skywalker became one with the Force on his own terms & was the very definition of what a Jedi should aspire to be; he may have fallen, yes, but he didn't stay down, which is something people seem to forget. His legacy was ultimately one of courage, strength, hope, & heroism, and Episode 8 only reinforces those characteristics. ✨️

@DavidJSinter @WCRaustler That's a difficult one. The Last Man on Earth, 1964, with Vincent Price was the first adaptation of Matheson's I Am Legend, probably best of the four. The other two being The Omega Man, 1971 (great Charlton Heston film), and the shitty I Am Omega with C. Thomas Howell, 2007.

Name a movie that was better than the book.
