I wanted to spread awareness, I recently had a pretty unfortunate experience and wanted to share it. I came across someone selling a beautiful Live2D VTuber model, and after thinking it over, I decided to go ahead and buy it. A couple of days later, though, I noticed that someone else, who I didn’t know- was showing off the exact same model. That really surprised me, since it had been advertised as an exclusive sale, where ownership would be fully transferred and the model wouldn’t be sold to anyone else. I looked into it a bit more and found out that I had already been blocked by the Seller, they deleted most of their accounts, which made things even more suspicious. On top of that, I learned that the original Studio that created the model wasn’t even aware it was being sold, which may have violated their Terms of Service. The studio has stated that they do not wish to get involved, and I’m left to handle this on my own. And I’m not sure what to do now. The second buyer was able to get a refund, but PayPal denied mine ;w;
