Why so blue chief?

Finished Metal Eden. It's not exactly outstanding in terms of game design, but visually, it's stunning. I've seen a lot of people say "Marathon looks cool, but I wish it was a single-player game". Metal Eden might be the closest we have to that, at least visually.

you can tell a lot of game story analysis on youtube are written and made for an audience who doesn’t play the games, like… there’s no analysis, it’s just “so this happens, then this happens, then this happens” with the occasional comment

Currently playing "cool sci-fi corridors: the game" (Metal Eden) and I’m loving the aesthetic.

I honestly think most of the Halo community would be fine if people didn’t take everything personally. A lot of the discourse about the idea of Campaign Evolved reusing assets would probably be calmer if some folks didn’t assume HS is doing that to spite the fans intentionally.
