The behavior we continue to witness within this fandom is abhorrent and deeply disturbing. The racist, homophobic, and overall hateful comments and actions directed towards Hudson, Connor, the cast of ‘Heated Rivalry’ or to Hudson’s loved ones are entirely unacceptable and have no place on our page. We understand the hurt, anger, and disappointment many of you are feeling - we feel it too. This space is meant to be rooted in shared appreciation, not hostility. Please prioritize your mental health and step back when needed. It is also important to address the ongoing misinformation: no one at HWU hates or dislikes Connor. He is Hudson’s co-star, best friend and comfort person who has brought him so much happiness and love since they met and we are so grateful for him being safe place for Hud. These accusations are false, speculative, and harmful, and we will not tolerate the continued spread of this narrative. This is a queer-led space, run by queer individuals, supporting a queer story and its cast. At the end of the day, we were fans of ‘Heated Rivalry’ first - just like all of you. Supporting Hudson and Connor should never be framed as a competition. It is entirely possible, and frankly expected, to uplift both of them in their individual journeys without pitting them against each other. We have voluntarily dedicated a significant amount of our time to running this updates account and organizing giveaways to make things accessible for his fans and we will continue to protect our peace and our boundaries from harassment, misinformation, and hate in whatever way we judge is necessary to prevent us from deactivating our Twitter/X account. We have every right to do so. Our intention has always been to foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment - not only for the fandom, but for Hudson and anyone close to him who may come across this space. We do not wish to amplify hate by giving it unnecessary attention, but we are aware of the concerns regarding certain accounts. Please know that efforts are being made behind the scenes to address these issues. We encourage you to continue reporting harmful accounts, participating in reporting-only groupchats, contributing to accurate community notes, and refraining from direct engagement. Bruh... I nearly dropped this fic in the last few chapters because I lost interest but pushed on with skimming it just for the sake of completion. I've had the nagging feeling that a lot of the paragraphs felt repetitive but I was so convinced it's just a writing style... what.

Hey guys, how are you? First of all, we want to apologize. We were away this past weekend due to personal commitments, and for those who don’t know, we are only two people running this account. Even though we have help with contents and other things, when it comes to social media, it’s just us two. We didn’t want to stay silent, but at the same time we couldn’t post anything more in-depth at that moment without fully understanding what was going on. Now that we’re informed, let’s talk about it. What’s happening here has gone far beyond simple fandom or ego conflicts and has become something much more serious and even criminal. False accusations, homophobic attacks, harassment, and racism are crossing all limits, not only towards Connor but also Hudson and others from the cast. Over the past week, Connor has been the target of defamation, including AI-generated images, homophobic attacks, and now even a possible leak of private content in an attempt to damage his image. Unfortunately, we can’t see every single comment or account spreading this hate, but the ones we have seen are already being reported and appropriate measures are being taken to prevent this from continuing. We will NEVER stay silent or tolerate any offensive or negative comments about his sexuality, relationships, friendships, or any aspect of his personal life. Being a public figure does not mean he deserves to be exposed or ridiculed. Connor is a kind and gentle person who has never given any reason for people to invade his privacy or spread false information about him, and it’s truly disgusting to see this happening. Once again, we ask you not to engage with hateful comments. Please report, block, and send them to us so we can take action, and encourage your friends to do the same. At the end of the day, this is exactly what these people want: engagement. It’s very easy for them to hide behind anonymous accounts and spend their time spreading hate. Instead, please, interact only with accounts that respect and support him as both an actor and a person. To finish, we are fans just like all of you. We dedicate our time and adjust our routines to keep this account running, doing everything with love and in the most genuine way we can. We truly do this from the heart to keep you all updated. Unfortunately, we’ve also seen accusations being spread about our admins following hate accounts directed at Hudson, which is not true. We would never support hate towards anyone, especially someone who is important to Connor. Our personal accounts are private and only for friends, and we would never mix things up. That’s why these accusations have no proof. If you need anything, we are always open to talk and to make this a better space for everyone. 💙

@Gav4Hollanov These people are clinically insane for being so disgusting about actors who don't even know them. Any of the hate and vile things they do and say to ANY of the cast members are so unjustified and absolutely vile, there is literally NO REASON to spew so much hatred into the world

I am truly disappointed with what I've encountered this morning in the fandom. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, I see negativity that simply isn’t acceptable. This account is dedicated to both Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, and I support them equally as a #Hudcon fan. If you harbor hate towards either of them, engage in homophobic, racist, or sexist behavior, or are invading their privacy by contacting Connor’s ex or stalking their families and friends, I kindly ask you to unfollow me. This is not a safe space for any hate directed at Hudson or Connor. While solo stans are welcome to have their preferences, it’s crucial that we promote a message of respect and kindness. Connor and Hudson are best friends, and nothing can change that bond. In a world where we face serious challenges such as war and injustice, I encourage everyone to focus on supporting those who are pursuing their dreams rather than spreading hate.
